An accomplished corporate attorney, he combines technical expertise with strategic insight. With experience at one of South Africa’s leading firms, he has built a career on understanding the complex, high-stakes challenges his clients face and guiding them through these with clarity and precision.

Named a Global Law Expert in M&A (2024), Thanny holds an LLB from the University of the Free State, is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with full High Court appearance rights, and has earned a UCT M&A Certificate. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Corporate Law at the University of the Witwatersrand.
